Rachael Wilcox is an organisational development practitioner, Systems Learning Designer, and Facilitator who works at the intersection of systems, strategy, and human dynamics to help leaders and teams collaborate effectively in complex environments.

Rachael brings over 25 years of experience across more than 35 countries, working in international development contexts shaped by political transition, crisis response, and institutional change.

Rachael’s work focuses on helping groups make sense of complexity together through systems-informed learning and facilitation. She designs and facilitates processes that surface patterns, assumptions, and relationships, enabling teams to see their system more clearly and identify practical leverage points for action. Her engagements include organisational assessments, strategy development and testing, leadership retreats, and learning initiatives that support alignment, feedback, and adaptive decision-making across diverse stakeholders.

As a learning designer, Rachael creates experiential, practice-led programs that integrate reflection, experimentation, and real-world application. She has led leadership and management development initiatives for global institutions including the World Bank Group, USAID, the International Monetary Fund, and the U.S. Forest Service.

As a coach and trained mediator, Rachael works with senior leaders, emerging managers, and teams to strengthen clarity, navigate tension and conflict productively, and lead with greater self-awareness and emotional intelligence. She is known for creating psychologically safe spaces where people can engage honestly with difference, uncertainty, and competing perspectives.

Now based in Meanjin (Brisbane), Rachael partners with mission-driven organisations to strengthen collaboration, learning, and leadership capability in service of sustained social impact in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
